Practically a Tradition
Listening to Say Anything’s album …Is A Real Boy as the sun rises in the dead of winter. I’ve been doing it for years.

Spent the last 5 hours reading about photography. Spent the the 6 hours preceding the last 5 hours working on photo stuff.

I’m tired, I have a bunch of work to do, art history makes me want to nap forever but, in this moment, and in general lately, I feel good. If not relaxed, I am certainly excited about much of what I have going on right now. My weekend - all 3 days of it - was almost entirely spent working. But it’s work I care about, work that interests me, work that satisfies me. It’s good work....

WatchA few weeks ago I helped out on a film for the Tisch 48 Hour Film Festival for which teams have 2 days to write, produce, and edit a 3 minute film. It’s called Black Hole and was directed by Jason Lester and Emi Bell. I’m generously credited as a grip and if you look closely, I also show up as a bartender.
